The Task:
Support internal The Executive Office leadership and talent pool as well as vendors and partners to operationalize the Area 2071 Initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to turn Emirates Towers into a hub for the next generation of businesses to be launched in Dubai.

The Work:
Leyden supported the development of the operational financial model and staffing plan, the creation the corporate product offering matrix and business development collateral, the drafting of vendor RFPs for the digital platform and agency support, the drafting of partner contracts, mentorship pledges, and press releases, the negotiations with launch partner organizations.

The Result:
Area 2071 was formally launched with a Partners of the Future event in October 2017, attended by members of the Royal Court as well as assorted Ministers.
The first partner program was successfully launched in January 2018 with a cohort of 9 startups arriving in a newly completed facility in Emirates Towers.
